Responsible wine consumption themed dinner and tasting of PDO and PGI wines from Vaeni Naoussa with journalists, bloggers and influencers from Athens.
The responsible wine consumption program is an information campaign with target countries Greece and Germany, which is implemented with the co-financing of the European Union. The program is providing informations to consumers regarding the responsible consumption of wine and the risk associated with the harmful consumption of alcohol. It also providing information about the EU geographical indications of PDO & PGI wines (Protected Designation of Origin and Protected Geographical Indication) in relation to their specific quality, reputation or other characteristics.
The Vaeni Naoussa cooperative (200 winegrowers / founding date 1983) represents approximately 50% of the production in the Naoussa region, famous for its excellence red wines made of the native grape variety Xinomavro. Today it is one of the most sophisticated greek wine production units based on its ability to produce high quality wines at fair prices.
